Things about little 'ol me!

1. One day I want to meet up with the girls whos blogs I follow.

I think it would be so much fun!!

2. I think I was destined to be a racecar driver. I REALLY REALLY LOVE to drive fast. Which is {one of the reasons} why I traded in my 6-speed 6 cylinder for an automatic 4 cylinder. {But I love my Betty White anyway J}

3. I have a GIANT family. 

Between blood brothers, half, step, and in-law siblings I have 12! 

Zach, Mindy, Conner, Lance, Talon, India, Mandi, Morgan, Alex, Adam, Brian, and Brittney! Good thing we draw names for Christmas lol.

It doesn’t matter if they are step, half, 

or whatever they are all brothers and sisters to me!

4. I am going on a diet in T-2 days! 

I am going to attempt to lose a little over 90 pounds!!

6. I HATE shopping now. I repeat HATE shopping. 

I used to LOVE shopping, but since I've gained weight..I don't like it. 

SO here's to me succeeding on my diet and becoming skinny again eh? :)

7. I also believe that I was a dancer in another life. 

Anytime an awesome song comes on, I always think of really sweet dances. Don't judge..lol..I know I'm a weirdo!

8. I have been married for 2 1/2 years. 

Have no kids {yet} but I have a Great Dane named Titan! :) 

& He is my baby!

9. I love to play video games with my hubby and brothers, and my best friend Smash over at Fit For Life  

{she just started her blog by the way! Stop over and check it out! So I wont be the only one jealous of her awesome bod! I'll get there one day!}

10. I'm pretty well-rounded. {literally speaking too...lol}

I love doing hair and makeup {Tutorials for hair and makeup coming soon!!} painting nails, getting pedicures, and getting all pretty and pampered. 

BUT I also like getting dirty too! 

Things like mudding, hunting, shooting guns, and camping are just as fun. 

I grew up with 2 brothers so I know how to hang with the boys, when girls just piss me off. {Went to hair school...got a little TOO much girl time.}

Right off the bat I would say NO...BUT it's $40,000 we're talking about so YES, I would. {I am TERRIFIED of Grasshoppers, and crickets are just like grasshoppers.}

3. What are you doing on Christmas Eve?

On Christmas Eve, the Hubbs and I go to his grandparent's house and have a huge dinner with his family! I love spending time with family! They are so much fun to be around!!

I am addicted to video games. {Yep I am a gamer-girl! }Lol...Seriously. I have always loved playing games since I was little, but ever since we got an xBox 360 a few years ago, I love playing Halo 3 and Borderlands. Mostly any FPS {first person shooter} game. What can I say, I like shooting things haha.

 

I have a really bad temper, and I break things. Especially phones& xBox controller. Not like PSYCHO break things though. Just slamming of the phone on the ground.

When I was younger I stole a bunch of stuff from Disneyland...{who does that} but years and years later, I still felt bad, and sent $100 anonymously.

I can’t stand zits…so any chance I get I scan my face, neck, and shoulders, if I find one, I will get it lol. If I see someone with a zit, I stare at it..

I put Cooler Ranch Dorito's on my Turkey Sandwiches...It is SO good!

My right foot is bigger than my left by about a half of an inch.

I LOOOOVEEE doing makeup!

I went to and graduated from hair school, and don’t care to pursue a career in it. I am thankful that I learned what I did though, because people ask me every day how to do my hair. I’ve been thinking about doing some video tutorials on doing different hair styles…But I am scared..

^ I am scared to do anything because I am so self conscious. I have gained about 80 pounds in the last 2 years. I am really disgusted with my self and can’t even look at my body without mentally throwing up. I don’t like to go anywhere because I am afraid to let people see me. When I do go places, and people are snapping pictures left and right I try my best to stay out. If they do get a picture of me, and put it on FaceBook, and tag me, I immediately remove the tag so nobody will know what I have done to myself. I used to be cute and skinny and I have had a lot of problems with my health and depression, but I am ashamed of what I have done to myself.  
Kind of pathetic isn't it?

I am going on like my 30th diet come January, but this time, it will be different, because I WILL succeed! You can follow my weight loss journey over at Diaries of a Fed-Up fat girl

Delicious Penne Rosa {Like from Noodles & Co.}

{This is the recipe I got off the internet}

I tweaked it a little bit.

PENNE ROSA

Serves 4-6

1 lb penne cooked al dente

1/4 cup of your favorite marinara

Spring onions sliced

2 cloves fresh garlic, chopped

Crushed chili flakes to taste

1/4 cup mushrooms, sautéed

2 Tbsp cream

Olive oil

Balsamic

Kosher salt to taste

1 bunch fresh Sweet Italian basil leaves, sliced

1 bunch of fresh asparagus

Feta Cheese

Cook pasta to al dente then chill in ice cold water. Drain, toss with olive oil and set aside.

Chop garlic, slice the onions and mushrooms, de-stem basil, slice and set aside.

Drizzle olive oil and balsamic on asparagus. Toss well. Grill lightly and set aside.

Heat a large sauté pan. Add the olive oil, garlic, mushrooms and spring onions. Stir well. Add tomato sauce when the mushrooms, garlic and onions are sizzling and lightly caramelized. Add salt and crushed chile flakes to taste. Add cream, then the pasta and toss to coat. Pour onto a platter. Finish with fresh sliced basil. Garnish with grilled asparagus spears and Feta cheese crumbles.

I didn't do the whole asparagus part because I hate asparagus lol. But I added Chicken. I cooked it in a pan with olive oil, chopped garlic, onions, and basil.

Also I recommend using more of the sauce. It only calls for 1/4 cup, but I used a whole jar and just added 6 TBSP of Cream. Next time I think I will use about 1/4 cup of Alfredo sauce, just to see how it comes out.

Busy Busy Bee!!

Hey Friends!

Wow, what a crazy time of year!! I am so excited for Christmas! I didn’t get to decorate my mantle like I wanted to, but we are super tight with money until the New Year! Which sucks, but Tyler and I know that if we have our health, our home, reliable cars, our families, friends, and most importantly each other, Christmas will be awesome! We were able to get a few presents for each other and I think this is the first year we haven’t caved in and given our presents early. GO US!!!

Things around now in my family are SO hectic! As many of you know, I have a GIANT family! This consists of full, half, and step siblings, not to mention the in-law siblings too. Parents, step-parents, in-law parents, grandparents, step-grandparents, and the in-law grandparents as well. Let’s just say our calendars are pretty much over flowing with events and activities.

Thursday the 16th: My littlest sister {Mandi} has a school program.

My Uncle & his kids Sara & Jake fly in from Cali.

My Brother Adam flies in from Colorado.

Friday the 17th: Santa Party

Saturday the 18th: Santa Party in the early afternoon

Grandparents’ 50 Anniversary @ The Roof in SLC!

Sunday the 19th: Cousin’s Baby’s {Baby Nikki} 1st Birthday!

Wednesday the 22nd: Fondue Dinner @ my Dad’s

Friday the 24th: Breakfast for my cousin’s {Tannya} Birthday!

Saturday the 25th: CHRISTMAS!! We have 7 {I repeat SEVEN} stops this day!

Tuesday the 28th: Mary Kay Party with my madre!!

Not to mention that I have 3 orders of rings to be done by Saturday! I love being busy!!

My latest things are RINGS! They are super cute! The only thing, they have to be ordered from HONG KONG! And it takes almost a month for them to get here! BOO! AND no express shipping! So I just ordered a smaller amount of stuff to make them, turns out they are a hit! So as soon as I collect money on the ones I’m selling, I need to order more supplies! I am looking to expand onto all kinds of jewelry and head bands! They are going to be SO cute!! I’m so excited!

Back in the game!!

Okay so it's been a long time coming, but I am back in the game! I finally got somethings situated and now have a computer at home again. {besides the laptop...I HATE that thing, I think I would thoroughly enjoy stomping on it} The Hubbs and I cleaned out my {once} craft room, re-made it into my craft/computer room! WOOT! My computer totally crashed and dumped EVERYTHING off of it! All my music, pictures, photoshop brushes, digital scrapbooking stuff..EVERYTHING! I seriously almost threw my computer out the window. But then thought twice as I remembered that there are cars parked beneath the window in this room. But it sure sounded fun! I think it would be quite entertaining to destroy something like a computer tower, or maybe a T.V.! You know, like take a baseball bat to it, sounds way fun. I will save that for some other day. {I am feeling quite violent today lol}

So a lot has been going on. I have a new craft/computer room {Yes, I know I have already established that, but hey, I'm really diggin it!} I was able to get my computer back to some working state by entering some date? {I googled it..lol} Anyway, so for the time being, I have my old computer. Until I can get my brother's computer reformatted and all that jazz, then I will have a new computer! Thanks Conner!! :) Love ya! I am so excited!

My sister-in-law recently got engaged, well like a couple months ago..anyway..moving on. She wanted me to take her bridal pictures, and let me tell you how scared I was....UH WAY SCARED!! I have NO idea what I am doing. I actually ACCIDENTALLY  bought my camera off eBay like 3 years ago. I got a killer deal on it though. Its a Canon Rebel EOS Digital, it came with 3 lenses too. So I did pretty good even though it was an accident. ANYWAY..I was totally freaked out when she asked me if I would take her bridals. So I took them and I will let you decide for yourself. I think they turned out pretty good. Then my friend asked me to take her family pictures, we haven't been able to do it yet, but I am really scared lol. I{I don't know what it is, but I kind of think I am a social freak lol, I never know if people think I am a total idiot or not, so I kind of get nervous.} I am hoping we can get some of her family soon before it snows too bad. I miss them anyway lol. After Shay had asked me to do her pictures, my {other} sister-in-law asked me if I would do her family's pictures as well..SCARY! Those ones are done and I am just editing them. I will post a few when I am finished and you will have to tell me what you think. 

  Another thing that is going on is that I am going to be opening a new jewelery line for my boutique. {I am just waiting for some stuff to get here from HONG KONG! Lol, they had it for the best price!} I don't really do too many things for my boutique but I'm hoping that adding jewelery will add customers. I am also looking into putting up an Etsy site. I've already got the name and stuff, I just need to get the time to put all of it up. CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY! Oh and Christmas is SOO SOON!!

I'm freakin out man!! Lol

BiRtDaY FUN!!

So I know I don't have very many followers but to the followers that I do have, I apologize for my lack of posting lately. Things have been hectic. Birthdays, Thanksgiving, more birthdays, My birthday, and a crashed computer. Yep that's right, my computer CRASHED!! How stupid. All my stuff was on there! :( So I am in the process of getting another computer all set up that my awesome little brother is giving to me! :) **Thanks Conner!! :)

       So it was my birthday yesterday! I am now 23...{I can almost feel rigamortis setting in..jk} I usually get a little upset around my birthday because usually people forget about it. But this year was awesome! I was kind of upset that we weren't really doing anything. {I get really ornery when I am hungry, it's ridiculous} So when Tyler informed me that we weren't going to Javier's, {my FAV. Mexican place} I was kind of upset. Especially when he told me that we had to run to my grandma's house so he could move some furniture. I was like, that's lame. Move furniture tomorrow or something. Anyway on the way there I was thinking, wait what if this is a surprise party? FUN! But why would it be at my grandma's house? So we get there and nope no cars. So the surprise party was a no. We walk inside and I shut the door and see my step-mom hiding behind it, and I was like "What the..." then SURPRISE!!! :) ALL my immediate family was there! & My bestie Ash! Except my poor mom, she is really really sick. :( AND Adam because he lives in Colorado, and Morgan & Alex because they live in Minnesota. It was so awesome!! :) Thanks Ty for the surprise party! :)

My dad & step-mom made my fav. grilled chicken, and got fried rice from Kobe, and they made sure to have crutons and ranch, {my other favorite thing to eat} My cake was my favorite too, chocoloate with marshmallow frosting! :) I have such an awesome family! Love you guys!! After dinner we just sat around and talked, then, Tyler, Ashley, my brother Lance and I went to see Harry Potter! I LOVE THAT SHOW! 

My mother and father-in-law are taking Tyler and I to dinner tonight to Javi's! I'm exited!!

I am incredibly blessed to have such an amazing family!

On another note, I am trying to make my blog cuter lol. So sorry for the temporary ugliness of my blog page. I'm hoping to be done at the end of this week. But it's kind of hard with no computer..lol.
