Today I am showing my
FAMILY SUBWAY ART
I am TOTALLY OBSESSED with Subway Art!
This is actually my first attempt in making something this big!
{it measures 19in X 27in!!}
I started with a blank sheet of MDF {Meduim Density Fiberboard}
Then I primed it, and painted it black.
I spent about 2 hours designing and making
sure that everything was the right size, then
I cut the vinyl out at work with our industrial sized plotter,
usually used for signs for businesses.
But I use my time and my vinyl, so it's okay! :)
First I used some spare vinyl that I had left over
from a project I did a while back.
Got it all on there and stenciled.
Pulled the stencil off, and it ripped the paint off!!
OH NO!!
So I had to start over, using a better primer, and less tacky stencil vinyl.
I adjusted just fine because it turned out great!
I am really happy with it!
It's going to look perfect on my mantle! :)
